We seek to be a church that, like Jesus, meets people where they are and leads people to discover and live who God made them to be.
We are a connectional church with the United Methodist Church, together we seek to do ministry together that we could never do alone. Committed to making the world look more and more like the Kingdom of Heaven.
United Methodist Beliefs
Our Story
We follow in the footsteps of people who sought to make a place and a home for people to find God that they would never know. In 1891 they started that journey and we seek to live it out.
We live in a world that divides people into groups but never seeks to put them back together. We have visioned about being a church to meets people where they are, meaning that we seek to meet people of different generations, different backgrounds, different interests, where they are and draw them into the family of God with people who are different and yet the same.
We want our traditional worship to echo the songs and the longings of those who have worshiped before us and yet speak in language that transcends age and preference. We want our Modern worship to be a place where teens can grow to adults and find church has always been for them and our older adults can be moved by worship that moves them.
We long to be a church that helps our youngest grow into the story God has for them and our oldest to live out their story in others. To meet people around the table at Community Kitchen, to find ways to bring families together and create family among different people.
We think everyone can begin this journey by being a better neighbor to the people around them. Seek to love like Jesus the the people closest to us and become stronger families. We think all people were created with purpose and intention by God. They were sculpted and breathed into and can choose to live out that purpose through grace with the help of one another, the church. This is who we want to be.
